Tards might like girls, but few sensible girls like them back.
A little jerky, I know, but I'm still learning how to use Fireworks.
Thank you for looking!

I have to commend the artist for their use of simplicity in the image as it really makes its inner personality come forth from its animation and presents us with a bit of depth behind its animated motions. The simple expression of the character, while not exactly presenting a detailed expression for the viewer, its actions are still audible enough for one to feel how it feels in front of them. The character's almost vacant expression perfectly reflects an urge by the individual to become noticed in some way, just so someone could speak to them and make them feel as though their existance matters in some way. Just so it could actually feel affection from others in even the most minuscule of ways. Its hand moving out slowly, wanting to be noticed by each passerby to leave at least a slight impression upon them to simply let them know that the individual exists. As one watches more and more, a slight attachment to the character begins to build with the viewer. They feel a slight urge to want to comfort this small character in some way despite being unable to do so in the confines of their home. Its the emotional strings that this piece pulls that really grant it so much appeal with viewers, and a great show of the artist's capability of display subtle emotions in animation.
Now with everything that seems to work well with this animation, I do feel as though a few things could be done to improve this piece. While I think the simplicity is one of its stronger points, in some cases it could be seen as maybe a bit to simple. For example adding a few more in-between frames in the animation will really give the emote that much more depth in both quality and emotional grasp for the viewer. A setting for the actions depicted would also grant a welcome personal touch to the whole scenario, or even shifting backgrounds to emphasize that being ignored can happen anywhere and is not just an occurance in a specific place. This way the message of the image could be that much deeper for others to see, understand and even relate to. My suggestion is to keep playing around with this piece and find out what could really work out for it no matter what combinations are implemented into it.
Being ignored is never something that we really enjoy. While some wish to be left alone and out of the way of others, the lonliness eventually gets to them and their concept of companionship and even interaction with others becomes greatly strained overtime. This will soon leave them a shell of their former self, completely deviod of personality and life as they shift through their lives without nary a notice to anyone or anything. If something is not done to prevent such events from occuring, the indvidual might end up taking very, very dire steps to make the pain of isolation end and to finally feel a release of these shackles of loneliness. All of these personal destruction and hatred because they were simply...ignored. :Ignored: is a subtle reminder of the dangers of isolation and the various impacts it could have on those who are ignored. They may not show it on the outside, but on the inside the pain could be more than one could comprehend. Good work, Gabrielle.
